Wyong

Wyong is a Town located North of Gosford in the Central Coast region, New South Wales.

Being Further up north then Gosford driving to Newcastle will only just over an hour and Sydney, just over an hour and a half.

More people are relocating to regions such as Wyong on the Central Coast as they aim to get away from busy and stressful lifestyles brought about in the city.

Wyong is one of the two Administrative Centers on the Central Coast, The Wyong shire Council and the Gosford Council Which are local governments in which serve the public Central Coast region.

Wyong is Aboriginal land, and the word ‘Wyong’ has an indigenous meaning of ‘an edible yam’ or ‘place of running water’.
